Why choose EnchantedForest Nature Workshops?
- Potentially no travel costs.
- We value children's thoughts, ideas and most importantly their imagination. We build on what they already know and inspire them to know more.
- We use several different ways of interpreting the environment. Joseph Cornell's flow learning style may be best or even a relax kids session may work very well.
- We care about nature. EnchantedForest, where possible use recycled products or sustainable products. We recycle and reuse paper and many other materials. We use energy efficient electrical equipment, but most importantly we plan in advance so that waste does not occur in the first place.
- Through all of our workshops EnchantedForest promotes sustainability both on a local scale and world wide.
- EnchantedForest believe in experiential learning and bringing nature to life through relevant games, activities, trails and crafts. NO WORKSHEETS!
- EnchantedForest can act as a consultant for teachers and group leaders, offering information about environmental organizations that offer support, freebies, educational resources and much more that can be used for the benefit of the children.
- EnchantedForest visits the school and the teacher to make plans for the workshop. This pre-visit enables EnchantedForest to tailor each workshop to the needs of the children. Allowing us to think about what angle to come from and which theme to use. An EnchantedForest leader will also need to see how appropriate the school grounds or local green space are for the workshop.
EnchantedForest Workshops are available to all stages of the national curriculum. EnchantedForest plan workshops according to national curriculum topic, i.e. science or art and design. If however you have an idea of your own EnchantedForest will be happy to develop a workshop that will suit your groups age and ability whether it is linked to the NC or not.
Making it Easier for You
EnchantedForest provides Nature Workshops for all Key Stages. EnchantedForest will accommodate the needs of both you and your pupils.
Taking children on an off site visit can not only be a health and safety headache, but can also incur expensive transport costs. EnchantedForest are big on sustainability and we believe that hiring a coach is not always the solution to meeting the requirements of experiential learning for children.
EnchantedForest promote enjoyment and learning in your own local environment whether it be on the school grounds or at a near by green space or woodland. Let us come to you and work with the children in their own local environment.
Location
For most workshops there are several location options available. EnchantedForest can:
